On Day 3 we drove north with Rob, Becky and their son Ross to a delightful hot springs hotel and golf course in Okaroire.

Golf is plentiful and cheap in New Zealand.  Green fees hover around $5 US.  But be warned:  it gets weird when you ask to rent clubs:
